Industrial Sales Support Representative

About the role

The Ferguson National Sales Team is hiring an Industrial Inside Sales Representative to support customers, solve problems, and play a key role in scaling our Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology hygienic business.

Responsibilities

• Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the correct BPE products and solutions.
• Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely and accurate quotations for both MRO and project needs, along with precise and efficient sales order process.
• Cook up deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer internal and external sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving both customer and associate questions and concerns.
• Utilize CRM to manage customer projects and specific needs.
• Facilitate PVF (pipe, valve & fitting) needs for customers as aligned with our Intentional Product Strategy and preferred vendors.
• Ability to efficiently review, interpret and break down project specifications to ensure accurate understanding and execution.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of inside sales experience is preferred.
• 3-5 years of hygienic BPE knowledge is preferred.
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service-oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a must.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn additional product knowledge and processes.

Pay

Pay Range: $18.71 - $29.92 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
