Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and support safety and environmental compliance programs (OSHA, EPA, DNR).
- Keep safety records, inspections, and compliance documentation up to date.
- Cook up safety training.
- Manage chemical inventories, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and proper labeling.
- Conduct terminal safety inspections and complete monthly checklists.
- Conduct hazardous waste, stormwater, and fire inspection reporting.
- Monitor shop and paint booth safety practices.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Hands-on physically assist and direct shop areas needing cleaning/organizing.
- Aid with general shop and facility duties as needed.
Requirements
- Experience or education related to workplace safety, environmental compliance, or industrial operations.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and basic office equipment.
- Willingness to learn, stay current on regulations, and train others.
- Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented.
Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain CDL with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements (training provided).
- Support facility systems such as radios, cameras, and cleaning supplies.
- Aid with vendor coordination, contracts, and basic recordkeeping.
