Role And Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs and effectively fill open industrial manufacturing positions
- Ensure a great candidate experience is provided at every opportunity
- Drive a thorough interview and selection process in collaboration with the hiring manager for each open position
- Develop pipelines of skilled manufacturing talent, including CNC Machinists, Welders, Facilities Maintenance Mechanics, Outside Machinists, and other fabrication and production positions
- Research and implement new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Build channels, including internet sites, other media, and networking with trade programs, apprenticeship organizations, and community partners
- Act as super-user of applicant tracking system for posting, updating and processing candidates including training new users
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Support the employee on-boarding process
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or equivalent experience, preferred
- 3 or more years in Recruiting, preferably supporting manufacturing, fabrication, skilled trades, or industrial operations in a high-volume environment, required
- Proven relationship management and collaboration experience with all areas of the business
- Experience in offer negotiation, employment legislation and employment market trends
- Experience sourcing skilled trades talent through technical schools, apprenticeship programs, industry associations, referrals, and networking events preferred
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- High level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance issues and best practices related to recruiting
- Flexibility to adjust to meet business demands in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Occasional light lifting (20-25 lbs.)
- Office environment
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility
Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 (Dependent on experience & qualifications)
