Industrial Reclaim Water Plant (IRWP) Design Engineer

Responsibilities

- Planning, system design, and outsourcing for the construction of new IRWP overseas. - Cross-organizational communication, coordination, and problem-solving. - Assessment and implementation of innovative technologies to address new process challenges and promote environmental friendliness. - Design tailored to international and local regulations and requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education

- Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field

Technical Skills

- Possess project management and communication coordination skills - Biological, chemical, and physical knowledge of water treatment technology, including clean water and wastewater. Knowledge of P&ID, piping, and basic water engineering.

Interpersonal Skills

- Highly enthusiastic and interested in design work. - Possess independent thinking and operational abilities. - Ability to create, check and modify design documentation and clearly present with manufacturing/facility teams.

Physical Requirements

- May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. - Required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects. - The position will come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts. - Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator. - Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment. - Must have the ability to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spaces.

Training

- Candidates may need to go to Taiwan for training or meeting depending on business needs.

Shift Expectations

- Candidates are expected to work on standard work hours, Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm.
