Industrial Radiographer, Certified RT Level II - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform independent radiographic operations including technique selection, material positioning, exposure of film, etc.
• Develop film and interpret results to determine part pass/fail status based on defect seriousness, codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Move parts using forklifts, hoists, and other lifting equipment for inspection.
• Review new customer orders to assist in determining appropriate processing through X-Ray operations.
• Obtain and maintain certifications in other NDT disciplines as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with post-secondary education in other NDT methods.
• At least 3 years of experience in radiography of castings.
• Certified to RT Level II according to SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, MIL-STD-2132, NAVSEA Tech Pub. 010/271.
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be certified as Trustworthy and Reliable, including passing an FBI background check.
• Maintain a strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high attention to detail.
• Capable of working as a team player and possessing a high level of technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
