About the role
The Industrial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects in shipyards. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of marine engineering.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans that meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Manage risks and issues proactively to minimize delays and costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the marine industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project.
- Knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
