About the role
The Industrial Construction Project Manager will provide overall leadership and direction for warehouse and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements
- Develop, communicate, and maintain project schedules and milestones
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Review project performance and implement strategies to maintain schedule and budget goals
- Oversee procurement and subcontractor buyout activities
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate with field personnel to ensure successful project execution
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress with stakeholders
- Administer Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements
Requirements
- 6+ years of Construction Project Management experience
- Experience managing warehouse, distribution center, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial construction projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and project controls
- OSHA certification preferred
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
