About the role

The Industrial Construction Project Manager will provide overall leadership and direction for warehouse and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain project schedules and milestones
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Review project performance and implement strategies to maintain schedule and budget goals
  • Oversee procurement and subcontractor buyout activities
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with field personnel to ensure successful project execution
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress with stakeholders
  • Administer Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Construction Project Management experience
  • Experience managing warehouse, distribution center, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial construction projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and project controls
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
