Industrial Pipefitter

About the role

Kinsley Construction is a full-service construction company dedicated to excellence in various industries. This position involves working in diverse industrial and manufacturing settings, performing tasks such as machinery installation, facility relocations, plant maintenance, and upgrades to water/wastewater treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, piping schematics, and system designs.
• Work with a wide range of materials including PVC, HDPE, copper, steel, stainless steel, and ductile iron.
• Undertake maintenance and repair activities for existing process systems.
• Prioritize and uphold a commitment to working safely, using provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
• Contribute to the implementation of safety methods and practices within the work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; additional secondary education is appreciated and will be factored into the determination of the pay scale.
• Three to five years of relevant experience is a prerequisite for this position.
• Proficiency in comprehending construction drawings is essential.
• A valid Driver’s License is a requirement.
• Familiarity with or a willingness to learn and adhere to OSHA and MSHA safety regulations is crucial.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills are fundamental.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude for daily customer interaction are necessary.
• Ability to be a self-starter, working independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to multitask effectively in a high-speed environment.
• Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Comfort and experience working at heights.
• Willingness to learn and/or assist in other trades.
• Flexibility to work some weekends as needed.
