Industrial Physical Therapist provides onsite physical therapy services at a large-scale construction project, focusing on injury prevention, early intervention, functional improvement, and ergonomic risk reduction. Schedule
Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite physical therapy evaluations and interventions within scope of practice and state regulations
- Deliver early intervention services to address musculoskeletal discomfort before recordable injury occurs
- Identify cases requiring medical referral and coordinate appropriate escalation
- Design and implement injury prevention and movement optimization programs
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and job task analyses
- Support return-to-work and transitional duty programs through functional progression
- Document all services accurately, timely, and in compliance with legal and program standards
- Track and report trends, outcomes, and program effectiveness
- Educate employees on body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices
- Collaborate with Occupational Health, Safety, HR, and leadership teams
- Maintain clinic equipment and supplies used for PT services
- Comply with client policies, WorkCare standards, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties and assume responsibilities as identified by manager for the efficient operation of WorkCare
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 2–5 years of clinical Physical Therapy experience required
- Experience in occupational health, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, or sports medicine preferred

Computer Skills

Physical Demands
- Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk
- Some bending and stretching could be required
- Working under stress and use of computer/phone required
- Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard
- Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and climb stairs
Work Environment
Primarily onsite industrial/office environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Temperature and air quality generally controlled.
Pay
Hourly pay range of $48 - $58. Final compensation depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
