What You Will Do
- Perform all types of industrial painting work and prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, taping or other means as necessary
- Mix, match and blend various paints and special protective coatings to achieve desired colour, consistency, and drying properties
- Paint equipment using brush, spray gun and conventional and airless spray systems
- Erect and use ladders as required
- Check and document humidity, dew point and mil thickness
- Meet production standard hours
- Apply primer and paint
- Clean and store tools and equipment, keep work site clean
Who You Are
- Previous experience with industrial painting of equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints
- Intellectually curious, passionate about learning and being the best
- Sense of urgency, highly responsive and oriented towards action
- Can-do attitude, and respond in all situations with a positive and energized attitude
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts and overtime
