About the role

Perform surface treating and preservative coating for storage and chemical and material processing operations of various metals in the form of parts and assemblies at the PSO- Kearny Mesa location. This position requires working onsite five days a week. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical processing operations working from process specifications, standards, and written or oral instructions.
• Perform material and processing operations such as sand, bead or shot blasting, tumbling, and/or non-atmospheric controlled fields.
• Group and load parts to utilize equipment efficiently and assure uniform treatment.
• Make visual checks of parts following treatment to ensure surface treatment meets specification.
• Maintain records as required.
• Check own work in process for compliance to requirements and good shop practice.
• Add proper solution to tanks as required.
• Experience with Industrial Paint Booths and Industrial Paint Sprayer Systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to work any shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial Painting Experience.

Pay

Base rate for this role ranges from $20.00 - $31.81. Actual rate will be based on experience.
