Responsibilities
- Perform painting preparation tasks including masking, caulking, and wash booth operations
- Spray primer, paint, and urethane onto end products
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
- Operate a forklift and crane periodically throughout the shift, as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Follow standardized work instructions and procedures to complete tasks
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Prior paint experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position which includes frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, climbing, standing, pushing/pulling, and walking
- Positive attitude
- Teamwork skills
- Driver’s license highly preferred
Pay
Derrick Corporation pays full-time employees on a non-exempt basis, with a standard work week of 47.5 hours. Associates are also paid overtime daily for anything over 8 hours.
Schedule
Full-time and non-exempt. DAY SHIFT: 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday. NIGHT SHIFT: 9pm – 7am Sunday - Thursday.
