Responsibilities

As an Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production, utility, and facility equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on production, utility, and facility equipment
  • Interpreting mechanical and electrical plans, technical drawings, drafts, and sketches
  • Completing all required documentation and data collection for calibrations, PM work, and equipment validations
  • Working independently to complete tasks while collaborating with other multi-craft personnel to resolve complex technical issues
  • Documenting all equipment repairs and modifications for data retention and regulatory compliance
  • Maintaining proficiency with our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Identifying calibration and PM deviations, completing reject forms, and disposing of materials according to placard specifications
  • Restoring and programming SCADA and HMI panels using vendor-supplied information
  • Assembling electrical panels using provided drawings and component lists
  • Troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical assemblies and power transmission equipment
  • Proactively recommending equipment and process improvements
  • Strictly complying with all industry standard safety regulations, company safety rules, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2-year Vocational/Technical certificate in electro-mechanical technology preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards

Skills

You will need to be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment, including:

  • PLC-based control systems, electrical switchgear, and manufacturing equipment utilizing electrical diagrams and PLC software
  • Digital and analog circuits, as well as AC (up to 480V) and DC motor circuits
  • Electro-mechanical and electro-pneumatic systems
  • Facility instrumentation
  • Labeling, capping, filling, conveying, and palletizing systems
