About the role
Our Emerson Plywood and Veneer manufacturing facility in Emerson, Arkansas seeks an Industrial Millwright with comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, processes, and techniques to safely repair, modify, install, and maintain high‑tech manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely repair and troubleshoot industrial mechanical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Support the goals and objectives of the entire maintenance team.
- Conduct basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Stable employment history.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience as an Industrial Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operating conditions require.
- Personal commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Good working knowledge of industrial maintenance issues and unit maintenance practices.
- Team‑player attitude with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment examination.
- Commitment to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including climbing stairs and catwalks and tolerating extreme heat or cold.

Preferred qualifications
- Vocational or technical school certificate in a related area.
- Experience with SAP, Maximo, or other CMMS platforms.
Pay
$22‑$36 per hour.
Schedule
Full‑time, rotating shift schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
