About the role
The Millwright at Kronospan is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various machinery and systems used in the production of wood panel products.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and systems used in wood panel production
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment and systems
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in equipment and systems
- Improve operational efficiency through process improvements
- Work overtime and fill-in for shift openings as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Minimum 3 years' documented experience with heavy manufacturing processes and associated maintenance and repair procedures
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic processes and principles
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to complex problem solving
- The ability to use power tools, measuring devices, and other hand tools
- The ability to read and comprehend complex data including mechanical drawings and schematics
- Experience in performing advanced preventive maintenance procedures
- The ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
Qualifications

Schedule
The Millwright position is full-time and works shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
