About the role

This position provides technical support, maintenance, and repair services for waterblast equipment both in-house and at customer job sites. You will educate customers on safe equipment use, perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, and assist with rental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in person or over the phone to educate potential customers on the safe use and features of waterblast equipment.
  • Generate work orders to perform routine scheduled maintenance on equipment and complete necessary documentation.
  • Perform assembly and/or repair services at customer facilities or job sites as requested.
  • Inspect and diagnose customer and company-owned equipment, and perform necessary repairs to ensure full operational status.
  • Assign necessary parts to appropriate work orders, maintain sufficient inventory levels, reorder parts/supplies as needed, and perform cycle counts to reconcile variances.
  • Perform check-in and check-out processes for all rental equipment, document any necessary repairs or damage, and notify appropriate individuals of charges for repairs.
  • Safely load and unload waterblast equipment from transport trailers as needed.
  • Transport/tow waterblast equipment to and from customer job sites as requested.
  • Demonstrate equipment to potential customers and provide basic user training for operators/customers.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in creating rental equipment contracts using established processes.
  • Respond to after-hours customer inquiries, repair requests, or provide technical support.
  • Follow all procedures and processes for assembly of parts/units to build defect-free products, complete required in-process inspections, repair defects, and document critical quality information.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of products and processes to better serve customers and improve profitability.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise the Production Supervisor of any maintenance issues.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 15%.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of maintenance experience, including but not limited to industrial equipment such as pumps and motors.
  • Ability to obtain a Forklift certificate.

Pay

Anticipated hourly pay ranges based on relevant experience:

  • Less than 4 years: $25.00/hour
  • 4-7 years: $26.00/hour - $28.00/hour
  • 8-12 years: $29.00/hour - $30.00/hour
  • 13-19 years: $31.00/hour - $33.00/hour
  • 20 or more years: $34.00/hour
