Industrial Material Handler- 1st Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking an Industrial Material Handler- 1st Shift. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for the safe operation of various types of powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading from Primaries and/or Industrial assembly and fabrication lines to keep flow of product smooth and efficient
• Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap
• Operate forklifts
• Store, space, and deliver materials or products
• Stack pallets and arrange materials
• May be required to palletize and secure material as needed
• Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (e.g., walking crane or hoist)
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Valid state issued driver’s license required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
• Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered
• Strong Industrial product knowledge (preferred)
