Industrial Maintenance Technician III 1st Shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. The Industrial Maintenance Technician III position is available on a 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Monday-Friday, with every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electro-mechanical equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines
• Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms
• Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and train new mechanics
• Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
• Able to assist in Training Level I Technicians
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)
• Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting
• Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• Able to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment
• Flexible and willing to work overtime as required
