Join Techo-Bloc's Douglassville, PA team and keep a modern manufacturing operation running at its best. We're looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and working with automated equipment.

What You'll Do

You'll help maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, belts, chains, drives, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and VFDs.
  • Read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and identify parts needed to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to improve uptime, reliability, and equipment performance.
  • Fabricate, weld, repair, and modify components as needed.
  • Document work, labor hours, and parts usage in the maintenance system.
  • Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, team-focused work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, and 4–20mA systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use multimeters, meggers, and related tools.
  • MIG/Stick welding, fabrication, rigging, and precision measuring tool experience.
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
  • A safety-first mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, welding, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, CMMS software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SEW, Siemens, Lenze, or Allen-Bradley drives.

Pay

Estimated annual earnings: $85,000–$107,000 ($33-$42/hr + annual bonus). Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM ($2/hr shift differential).

Physical Requirements

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be able to closely inspect and continually monitor all machines in the production process. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and smell. The employee is occasionally required to remain stationary; ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces.
