Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the Role

When something breaks, you're the one who fixes it. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Asahi Beer USA / Octopi Brewing, you'll keep every piece of equipment across our brewery and packaging lines running — so production never has to stop for long. This role offers real variety across mechanical, electrical, and hands-on fabrication work, with direct impact across the whole operation, from brewery and packaging systems to the building itself. You'll also have room to build new skills, from precision testing instruments to sanitary welding and electrical work.

What You'll Do

• Inspect equipment and operating systems, and take corrective action when something's off
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance on all machines
• Diagnose problems using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment
• Maintain clear communication with management, production, and brewery teams on current and future projects
• Participate in after-hours emergency response as needed

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of maintenance and machine experience
• Thorough understanding of maintenance systems
• Able to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and push up to 175 lbs at times
• Strong attention to detail and organization, and the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Low and high voltage electrical experience
• Sanitary welding experience

Pay & Shift Schedule

Base rate for this role is $30.00/hr. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base — never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.

• 1st Shift — $30.00/hr (base rate)
• 2nd Shift — $30.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $33.00/hr
• 3rd Shift — $30.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $34.00/hr
• Weekend Day — $30.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $35.75/hr
• Weekend Night — $30.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $37.75/hr

Currently hiring for 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift (+ shift premium), and Weekend Night (+ shift premium). Full-time, non-exempt.
