Industrial Maintenance Team Lean

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate maintenance on production machinery, forklifts, trucks, and other equipment to minimize downtime.
• Manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to extend equipment life.
• Participate in Safety Committee, training, and record-keeping.
• Stay updated on regulations and implement necessary changes.
• Maintain alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and building key protocols to maintain security and mitigate risks.
• Manage maintenance schedule on trucks, trailers, and forklifts, ensuring DOT compliance and coordinating propane contracts for forklifts.
• Act as the primary contact for trash and recycling services, promoting sustainability through recycling programs.
• Support facility upgrades, process improvements, and production; collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Skills for Success

• Hands-on experience in automotive, motor diagnostic, and repair, with expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting forklifts, trucks, and industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience managing multiple facilities or remote teams is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interpersonal skills.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, industrial systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in light steel manufacturing.
• Intermediate electric maintenance knowledge.
