Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Disassemble, repair, and replace defective machine components using hand and power tools.
• Inspect parts and determine repair or replacement needs using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Fabricate and modify replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and replacement parts.
• Communicate preventive maintenance procedures and equipment needs to production staff.
• Complete maintenance reports and document repairs accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are necessary.
• A strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding are essential.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments is required.
• The ability to read manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications is important.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is valued.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
• Occasional Saturdays as needed.
