About The Role
The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing about 40% of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato growing, transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs approximately 500 year-round and over 3,000 seasonal colleagues, with annual sales of about $1 billion. The Morning Star Company is the largest producer of bulk tomato ingredient products (tomato paste and diced tomatoes) in the world. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as they arise
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with other team members to resolve complex issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- At least one year of industrial maintenance experience
- Proficiency with common tools and equipment used in industrial settings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical components of cookers, coolers, dicers, fillers, conveyors, etc.

Pay
Starting wage expected to be between $33.00 and $40.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
Schedule
Hours may vary based on production needs, but typically include a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
