About the role
Join our team at the Blue Anchor, NJ plant as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. You will collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth plant operations and continuously improve machinery and maintenance processes. Openings are available on both day and night shifts with a starting pay range of $31.55–$35.72 per hour.
Licensing Incentives
New Jersey State Refrigeration/Boiler Licenses earn additional hourly pay based on license level:
- Black/Blue: +$1.50 per hour
- Black/Blue/Red: +$3.00 per hour
- Black/Blue/Red/Gold: +$4.50 per hour
New hires have one year from their start date to obtain the required license from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Manage machine performance through equipment set-up, change-overs, and quick responses to breakdowns
- Understand, follow, and enforce safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to keep production lines running smoothly
- Acquire proficiency in specialized equipment and automation systems
- Pursue certifications or additional training to enhance skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting
