Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Maintain and repair machinery and equipment in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs
  • Document work in CMMS
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of corrugators, die cutters, conveyors, and related equipment
  • Aid with electrical tasks including motors, sensors, switches, safety devices, and basic PLC diagnostics
  • Follow LOTO procedures
  • Support boiler operations, inspections, water sampling, and regulatory compliance
  • Obtain MN Special Class Boiler License (90 days) and 2B License (within 2 years)
  • Meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs; standing, bending, climbing)
  • Work safely in an industrial environment using required PPE

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics
  • Able to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid MN driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check
