Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Summary

We are seeking a reliable Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on 3rd shift, to set-up, maintain, and troubleshoot foundry tooling, generally 2-piece core/cavity + ejection pins.

Responsibilities

• Set up of molds and related equipment for production, usually involves replacing worn ejection pins or drilling out clogged vents, and testing ejection function.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including bearings and bushings, hydraulic lines, and fasteners such as bolts.
• Replace worn or damaged components as needed.
• Use hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively (drills, grinders, torch).
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and prevent downtime.
• Follow all plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout guidelines.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors.

Requirements

• Driver's License & Reliable Transportation.
• Must be over 18 at the time of hire.
• Pre-Employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with hand tools, drills, grinders, and torches.
• Ability to perform maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds & stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules.
• Must be punctual, dependable & able to work independently.
• A mechanically inclined individual will excel in this job.

Pay & Schedule

• Full-time, 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 8:00am, no weekends).
• Starting wage: $23.25 per hour (based on experience).
• Overtime opportunities available on an as-needed basis.
