Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

About the Role

Build, repair, and travel as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at OASIS Alignment Services, North America's leader in precision alignment and advanced metrology. Work on exciting projects across the Northeast, tackling complex mechanical challenges with cutting-edge technology while making a real impact in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery in various manufacturing environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify issues before they become costly problems.
• Partner with Metrology and Optical Alignment teams to achieve world-class machinery alignment and reliability.
• Represent OASIS professionally while building strong relationships with customers and teammates.
• Support projects throughout the Northeast with approximately 2-3 overnights per week.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools, hydraulic jacks, and industrial maintenance equipment.
• Welding and plasma cutting experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A self-motivated, dependable work ethic.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.

New to the field but have foundational mechanical or machining experience? We offer trainee opportunities for motivated candidates who may not yet meet all job requirements. Employees hired at a trainee rate must achieve the minimum qualifications for the position within one year of their hire date through hands-on training and development.
