Responsibilities

  • Execute facilities start-up routines
  • Monitor status readouts of primary systems and take appropriate actions to ensure safety and reliability
  • Contribute to production efficiency by responding to maintenance calls as assigned
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Execute basic troubleshooting and repairs of electro-mechanical systems
  • Complete special project action items by assigned dates and priorities
  • Document work executed, time, spare parts usage, and place orders for parts
  • Accommodate shifting schedules and overtime as needed
  • Support plant initiatives conducive to a safe, secure, and clean workplace

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED/Technical School Education or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ Years of Work Experience in an Industrial Environment and/or 1+ Years of Trade Experience (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Controls)
  • Experience in Fabrication / Machine Shop
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System Experience (CMMS)
  • Good Computer skills (Microsoft Office, database and internet-based programs)

Skills

  • Executing Scheduled Preventative Maintenance and Unscheduled Maintenance in compliance with safety guidelines and procedures
  • Basic troubleshooting and repairs of electro-mechanical systems such as AC/DC motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, sensors, valves, hoists, and general industrial equipment used in a manufacturing environment
  • Monitoring status readouts of primary systems and taking appropriate actions to ensure safety and reliability
  • Responding to maintenance calls as assigned and either repairing or deferring action to supervisor for decision

Pay

The hiring range for this position is: $23 - $28/hour, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 1st Shift (Full-Time 40 hours)
