Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Summary of Responsibilities

• Repair and predictive/preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the electrical components for all equipment and facilities.
• Assist with the repair and predictive/preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the mechanical components for all equipment and facilities.
• Installation and troubleshooting of electronic equipment such as PLC’s, variable frequency drives, soft starts, etc.
• Perform general fabrication.
• Document work performed in computer systems.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Participate in shift meetings discussing line and team performance.
• I/O troubleshooting.
• 120 Vac Control & Relay Logic wiring and troubleshooting.
• 240 1 Phase & 480 3 Phase Motor Control installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Running of conduit and wiring.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 3 years of intensive previous experience in electronics, electrical wiring, and instrument/electronic/electrical troubleshooting is required.
• 1-3 years of previous mechanical maintenance experience in equipment repair, installation, and preventative maintenance is preferred.
• 1 to 2 years welding experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics.
• General fabrication skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
