Industrial Hygienists-Safety Professional V

Responsibilities

• Perform project oversight inspections.
• Perform hazard assessments.
• Perform accident/injury investigations.
• Review safety documents.
• Attend various project meetings.
• Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Art or Science.
• 20+ years of direct experience required.
• Relevant experience in Construction Safety.
• U.S. citizen.
• Successful drug screening.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
• Requires a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance.

Qualifications

Location/Work Arrangement:

• This will be a full-time position of at least 40 hours and some overtime.
• The normal schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm.
• Monday through Sunday may occur.
• This position is a fully onsite position at the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
