About the role

Lead comprehensive industrial hygiene programs, uncover workplace risks, and deliver solutions that keep organizations compliant and employees protected.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and administer industrial hygiene programs, possessing and applying a comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety and industrial hygiene principles, practices and procedures.
  • Lead or participate in studies of work environment, operations, processes, nature of the work, materials and equipment, products and by-products, workforce composition, and work hours, measurement of work environment and chemical and physical analysis.
  • Develop recommendations for corrective actions to eliminate, control or reduce occupational health problems.
  • Provide work direction for others, act in a lead role for work-related investigations.
  • May be required to prepare and present expert testimony on issues pertaining to industrial hygiene.
  • Ensure work environment complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Degree in a science field such as chemistry, biology, public health, industrial hygiene, or an equivalent area preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist is required.
  • Eight years or more related experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to establish and maintain productive internal and external working relationships.

Pay

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $94,000 - $117,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
