Industrial Fabricator Lead

We are looking for an experienced Lead Fabricator with an industrial fabrication background to join our precast production team. This position works in a small fabrication shop environment, focused on precast production rather than traditional fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Set up, build, modify, and repair precast molds
- Perform industrial fabrication to support precast production
- Work with steel and other materials used in precast mold construction
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, fit, weld, and assemble components accurately
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged or worn precast molds
- Make modifications to molds based on production requirements
- Ensure molds are properly built and set up for production
- Lead and coordinate fabrication activities
- Train and guide other team members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Work closely with production and management to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Previous industrial fabrication experience
- Experience building, assembling, modifying, or repairing fabricated structures or equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
- Strong knowledge of measurements, fitting, and fabrication processes
- Welding and metalworking experience
- Ability to troubleshoot fabrication and repair issues
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and lead others
- Industrial fabrication experience (must)
- Leadership or lead experience preferred
- Experience with building and repairing molds, forms, fixtures, or similar fabricated structures
- Strong understanding of measurements and fabrication processes
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of a fabrication position
Preferred Qualifications
- Concrete industry experience
- Experience setting up or working with precast molds
- Structural steel or metal fabrication experience
- Welding experience
- Experience modifying or repairing molds, forms, jigs, or fixtures
- Experience leading a fabrication or production crew
- Forklift or overhead crane experience

Pay
