About the role
The Industrial Engineer or Principal Industrial Engineer position is based on-site in Warner Robins, GA. This position requires an active Secret clearance at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.
- Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
- Understands, maps, and optimizes critical path product flow through the factory.
- Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.
- Incorporates complex interdependencies within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools.
- Affords assistance with digital transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise strategies.
- Leads and drives positive change using iterative and agile methodologies.
- Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 1 year of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master’s degree with 0 years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience for an Industrial Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master's degree with 3 years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a PhD degree with 0 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience for a Principal Industrial Engineer.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance at time of application.
- Experience supporting operational customers with system execution.
- Experience with data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications.
- ERP/MES experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Sound technical experience and understanding of Production Processes for Assembly, Fabrication, Planning & Tooling.

Pay
The Primary Level Salary Range is $72,100.00 - $108,100.00, and the Secondary Level Salary Range is $89,400.00 - $134,200.00. Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may also be offered.
Schedule
The position is full-time and requires travel up to 10% of the time.
