Industrial Engineer Associate Manager
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role or related discipline within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in leading projects to develop layouts for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Demonstrated proficiency using lean/six-sigma methods & data analytics to identify root cause, and solve problems in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with 2D/3D & process modeling programs such as CAD, CREO, SolidWorks, SIMIO, etc.
- Ability to work alternative shifts
- Must be a US Citizen to obtain a secret security clearance
Job Description
You will be the Industrial Engineering Associate Manager for the Missile and Fire Control team in Archbald, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for the Industrial Engineers that support operations in all production areas on site. The type of manufacturing that is performed is comprised of Circuit Cards, Cable & Harness, Electro-Mechanical, and Fabrication.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading analysis and design of operational sequences, coordinating recruitment and training of engineering staff, capital expenditure, and overseeing cost-control studies. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Analyze and design workflow sequences to improve plant efficiency and equipment layout.
- Cook up recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and recognition for subordinate engineers.
- Oversee industrial engineering studies on cost control, inventory management, and production records.
- Monitor implementation of facility modification plans and operating-method revisions.
- Collaborate with Facilities team the design of new plant structures.
- Using lean six sigma methods, data analytics, and simulation tools to optimize production processes, improve productivity and present recommendations to project teams and leadership.

- Previous leadership experience
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
