Industrial Electrician - Texarkana, AR

Responsibilities
- Install and maintain a wide variety of equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Control the action of electrical current using switches, condensers, transformers, rheostats, and other electrical equipment
- Use proper instruments and gauges to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and make any necessary repairs
- Interpret drawings related to the installation and operation of machinery and equipment
- Have experience with manufacturing equipment startup
- Be self-directed and capable of running projects with minimal instruction
- Ensure punctuality and dependable attendance
- Operate within a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment with varying environmental conditions
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or the Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certification (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights
- 5 years of industrial electrical experience or successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program

Pay
Base Pay: $40.05 per hour for Electricians enrolled in the Multicraft program. Singlecraft Electricians starting pay is $33.55. Electricians can enter the Multicraft program in July/January after qualification to begin receiving Multicraft pay.
Schedule
Shift Information: 12-hour shift, New hires would likely be placed onto the night shift. 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week)

Texarkana, AR Plant. The job is within a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. Environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.
