Industrial Electrician Technician

GardenCore is seeking an Industrial Electrician Technician responsible for ensuring the proper electrical functioning of plant equipment and machinery, troubleshooting electrical/electronic malfunctions, and completing appropriate repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings; experience with PLCs
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunctions with other facility personnel
• Calibrate and adjust all electrical/electronic equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or Technical degree and Apprenticeship program or equivalent in training, experience, and education
• Minimum of 5 years industrial experience in electrical support functions
• Must have been employed as an electrician or electrician apprentice within the past 18 months
• Knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical operations and components
• Working knowledge of three-phase wiring and motors, programmable controls, circuits, and National Electrical Code & NFPA rules
• Ability to identify and order all required parts and components from approved vendors

Pay

Hourly pay rate range is $27–30/hr.
