Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated young Industrial Electrician to join our team in Cuddy, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career working on heavy industrial equipment such as pumps, mixers, silos, drill rigs, and similar machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on industrial equipment such as pumps, mixers, silos, drill rigs, and related machinery.
- Work extensively with VFDs, motor controls, control panels, and perform full rewiring of equipment across low voltage, 110V, 240V, and 480V systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on three-phase power systems, motors, controls, sensors, and automation components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration of electrical systems to ensure maximum uptime and safety.
- Collaborate with the team on various maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across the facility and at jobsites.
- Participate in jobsite missions (after training) for equipment setup, troubleshooting, or repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), NEC guidelines, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and issues resolved.
- Support other team members as needed in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical/trade school certification in Industrial Electricity, Electrical Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience with industrial electrical work, ideally on equipment such as pumps, motors, VFDs, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage, 110V, 240V, and 480V systems, three-phase power, motor starters, control circuits, VFD programming/troubleshooting, and industrial wiring practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn our specific equipment fleet.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (by plane) occasionally for jobsite work (after training).
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift moderate weights, work in various positions/environments (including confined spaces or heights), and stand for extended periods.
