Industrial Electrician Helper

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on sales, parts, and service for various Caterpillar equipment including heavy and compact construction equipment and on-highway trucks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic electrical tasks such as bending conduit, running wire, and wiring breaker panels.
• Maintain an orderly work area, demonstrating safe work habits, and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Participate in the company’s safety program and work safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician.
• Valid state electrician's license.
• Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
• 3 years minimum experience as a commercial industrial or residential electrical apprentice/journeyman.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications from a technical college preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical installation.
• Willingness to learn basic electrical tasks.
