About the role
Global leader in flavor and food ingredients manufacturer located in Dayton, NJ is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join the team.
Location: Dayton, NJ
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, PLC, and control system issues to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Maintain and repair motor control centers (MCCs), relays, contactors, and electrical distribution equipment
- Support installation and commissioning of new production equipment and electrical upgrades
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Pay
$40 - $45 per hour depending on experience
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:30AM - 3:50PM
