What You Will Be Doing
- Perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis.
- Perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.
Primary Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of basic electrical installation.
- Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center.
- Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire.
- Interpret current NEC codes.
- Interpret shop drawings.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For
- Prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field.
- A strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
- The ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- 3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman as either a commercial or residential electrician.
- Ability to read a tape measure and compute basic math.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- A two year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred.
