Industrial Electrician

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Electrician role based in Wapato, WA. The Industrial Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across growing, packing, and cold storage facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues and perform troubleshooting
• Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance
• Coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Supervise or guide other electrical personnel as needed
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support production and cold storage requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electricity concepts and principles, including safe work practices and code-compliant installations
• Hands-on electrical work skills with experience in industrial or commercial environments, preferably in manufacturing, food processing, or cold storage
• Maintenance and repair and troubleshooting skills for motors, controls, panels, and facility electrical infrastructure
• Understanding of electrical engineering basics related to power distribution, control systems, and equipment specifications
• Valid Master Electrician license (or equivalent state certification) and familiarity with NEC and relevant local codes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to lockout/tagout and other safety procedures
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in agricultural, cold storage, or industrial facilities is beneficial
• Physical ability to perform on-site work, including standing, climbing, and lifting within safety guidelines
