Summary
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery, and reviews diagnosis for proper corrective action with other maintenance workers such as mechanics and supervisors.
- Must know NEC Codes to help ensure plant compliance with all safety protocols.
- Knowledge/Experience of complex manufacturing operations (preferred).
- Install/build control Panels 24-480V utilizing electrical prints for design.
- Must have knowledge with the following Digital I/O, Analog I/O, Industrial Networking Experience. Experience with Ethernet and Fiber (Preferred).
- Work alongside teammates of diverse skill levels while providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and foster strong relationships with all maintenance department co-workers, outside contractors and vendors.
- Troubleshoot and maintain advanced controls such as servo, servo amplifier, and servo controllers.
- Actively pursue and correct problems with electrical components and systems throughout the facility and grounds.
- Able to bend and install diverse types of conduits. Properly size wire and conduit size, install and terminate wire based on distance and FLA on connecting components.
- Experience with 24V -480V Power
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of all facility, grounds, and industrial power and electrical systems (low and high voltage).
- Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Diagnose electric motor, motor control, and device control problems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing sensors and solid state equipment.
- Experience with identifying and ordering parts and materials from manufacturers manuals and prints.
- Capable of communicating both oral and written instructions.
