Summary

Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery, equipment, and building systems.

  • Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery, and reviews diagnosis for proper corrective action with other maintenance workers such as mechanics and supervisors.
  • Must know NEC Codes to help ensure plant compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Knowledge/Experience of complex manufacturing operations (preferred).
  • Install/build control Panels 24-480V utilizing electrical prints for design.
  • Must have knowledge with the following Digital I/O, Analog I/O, Industrial Networking Experience. Experience with Ethernet and Fiber (Preferred).
  • Work alongside teammates of diverse skill levels while providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with all maintenance department co-workers, outside contractors and vendors.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain advanced controls such as servo, servo amplifier, and servo controllers.
  • Actively pursue and correct problems with electrical components and systems throughout the facility and grounds.
  • Able to bend and install diverse types of conduits. Properly size wire and conduit size, install and terminate wire based on distance and FLA on connecting components.
  • Experience with 24V -480V Power
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of all facility, grounds, and industrial power and electrical systems (low and high voltage).
  • Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Diagnose electric motor, motor control, and device control problems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing sensors and solid state equipment.
  • Experience with identifying and ordering parts and materials from manufacturers manuals and prints.
  • Capable of communicating both oral and written instructions.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Producing product free of contamination
  • Following all Ken’s Foods Security and GMP policies
  • Reporting any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plant
  • Inspection of work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and risk of electrical shock.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
