Industrial Electrician
About the role
Industrial Electricians are responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and wiring all electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits in the plant or mining areas.
Responsibilities
- Preventive & reactive maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repair of motors, transformers, circuits and electronic equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or other related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work overtime

- Preference for candidates with working knowledge in electrical maintenance in an industrial or mining environment
