Troubleshooting and Responsibilities
Report to the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment across the manufacturing plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to minimize downtime and support continuous plant operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, control systems, instrumentation, and plant electrical infrastructure.
- Install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with codes, standards, and specifications.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and implement improvements that enhance equipment reliability.
- Support a strong safety culture by following all electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training in electrical systems preferred.
- 1–3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience (or relevant apprenticeship experience).
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, including varying shifts if needed.
Bonus Points
- Experience with PLCs or automated control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation or process controls.
- Electrical license or progress toward certification.
