Arconic is currently seeking Industrial Electricians to join our Global Rolled Products Operations business unit in Lancaster, PA. Located in a 1.3 million square-foot plant, we produce a variety of products from painted aluminum sheet to blanked aluminum products, used in a range of end products like truck cabs, cookware, and construction materials. Our Lancaster plant has been a leader in the aluminum manufacturing industry for over 75 years.

All About Maintenance

As an employee in our maintenance department, you'll support production departments by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines they use. You could work in Cast House/Plate Maintenance, Cold Mill/Mill Finish Maintenance, or Hot Mill Maintenance. Safety is our top priority; we provide all necessary PPE and training. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical maintenance, preventive maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, and installation activities for assigned department
• Maintain AC/DC motors and drives, controls, motor control centers, conduit, lighting fixtures, pollution control and lubrication systems
• Perform safety inspections
• Prevent and minimize equipment downtime
• Problem solve electrical systems
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy weights up to 50 pounds
• Own personal tools

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Ability to pass the Electrical Accelerated Assessment Test, 2 years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience, or advanced technical degree in a specialized trade in electrical or electronics field, or military experience in an electrical/electronic field (with official MOS/AFSC documentation)
• Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Ability to operate a personal computer and use required department programs
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to deal effectively with others
