• Facilitate and enforce all the company safety policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
• Provides daily maintenance for the plant, performs mechanical, electrical, and preventive (PM) maintenance functions.
• Responsible for the maintenance work in emergency breakdown situations.
• Participates with maintenance and manufacturing supervision in establishing priorities for routine maintenance assignments.
• Provides daily electrical maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment.
• Provides technical advice to machine operators and manufacturing supervisors on matters relating to equipment modifications and time estimates on maintenance repairs.
• Maintains knowledge of National Electrical Codes for proper installation and protection of electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, wiring schematics, and electrical symbols.
• Knowledge of Aims / SAP is plus.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• 1 year prior electrical experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Good computer skills.

• Strong communication skills – written/oral.
• Analytical skills/problem solving.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Required to stand, sit, squat, bend, walk, lift (as noted above) and climb frequently throughout the day on a daily basis.
