Industrial Designer (Hybrid)

Location: Wappingers, NY – hybrid schedule available

Compensation Range: $80,000 - 90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and develop new products in lighting and home décor categories.
• Participate in brainstorm sessions for product launches.
• Develop designs from multiple conceptual sources.
• Develop innovative concepts based on brand attributes.
• Collaborate with mechanical/electrical engineers and manufacturers.
• Participate in product review meetings and presentations with staff at all levels.
• Travel as necessary to meet project needs and attend industry-related events.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in industrial, product, or home décor design.
• Proficiency in translating concepts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and KeyShot.
• Strong foundational knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes, such as metalworking and casting.
• A Bachelor's degree (BS/BFA) in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a closely related field.

Bonus Points

• Previous specialized experience in modern lighting design or hospitality fixtures is a strong plus.
