Industrial Controls Technician – Manufacturing

Role: Weekend Controls Technician Responsibilities Support automated manufacturing equipment at a high-end window and door facility.Troubleshoot and repair PLC-based control systems, sensors, VFDs, and electrical components to reduce downtime.Perform preventive maintenance and assist with control system upgrades.Document work activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications & Skills Hands-on experience with control systems, electrical components, and automation equipment.Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for PLCs, sensors, and VFDs.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and control upgrades.Ability to document work accurately and collaborate effectively with teams.
