Industrial Controls & Automation Engineer

Qualdoc Staffing is seeking an Industrial Controls & Automation Engineer for a Contract-To-Hire position in Ashland, VA.

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead crane systems, including electrical design, controls engineering, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PLC programming on platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar.
• Experience developing or modifying Human Machine Interface (HMI)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems effectively.
• Experience integrating Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) with PLC-controlled systems.
