Industrial Construction Project Executive
About the role
Location: J. Davis Construction-Anderson or Spartanburg, South Carolina offices. The Project Executive will be focused on Industrial Construction area with ability to lead business development, preconstruction, client services, and project management for an assigned sector at J. Davis Construction. The Industrial Construction Project Executive is responsible for growing client relationships, winning new work, managing budgets and staff across the sector, and making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high client satisfaction. The Project Executive also mentors the team and helps build a strong, low-turnover department.
Requirements
Job Experience Needed: Candidates will need to have commercial construction project-based experiences and connections within South Carolina, Georgia or North Carolina. Preferably with field operation experience within new/existing/renovations for warehouses and manufacturing facilities, in excess of 10,000 sq. ft.; Tilt wall; Precast; Structural Steel; Pre-engineered metal buildings.

- Promotes and reinforces the company mission and core values at all times
- Develop and maintain strategic client relationships that generate new business opportunities.
- Lead project pursuits, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure new work and expand market presence.
- Support marketing initiatives and sector growth strategies.
- Create and manage the annual business development budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively, in coordination with the Director of Business Development and COO
- Provide executive oversight for commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
